Kate got married we got crafty!!

Kate wanted a beachy wooden sign for her wedding...and we saw a lot of cool (but expensive) options on etsy. So we decided to DIY.. starting at the discount wood bin at Home Depot

        We searched for the perfect size pieces for a mixed and matched look

 

and stained the pieces that needed staining..ooh ignore my sausage fingers

 

it was hard work..but the result was worth it.. and I was so happy to see so many people at the wedding were taking pictures of it.

 

Thinking of starting to sell individual signs on etsy ..so much fun and worth the hard work

THe Baby SiS got Married this weekend!!!

Hey its been awhile.. but I thought I would post a pic of one of my latest projects. Found this adorable DIY at Tick Tock Vintage . Just had to try my own version.. my only regret is not taking before pics.  Still looking for a better chain..this will do for now though...Cant wait to rock this in the fall...maybe ill start taking outfit pictures :)

Love that my mom's college friends joined facebook.. which allowed me to find this gold mine of a picture of my mom in college... she claims its Halloween.. not sure I believe that ;)
