Wardrobe Wednesday
Hello my little muffin crumbs... so I decided to start adding regular features to my blog. This coincides with my journey to get back to sketching, styling, and Fashion Design in general. I am going to take an outfit that I have worn..(with a few tweaks) and post an illustration of it on this here blog.
It is my take on an outfit post...which I probably wont be doing until 1) I get a fab photographer, so that I am not taking creepy mirror pictures and 2) I lose just a few more lbs as to not look like a whale in the outfits ;)

College days
I found these images from the archives of University of Iowa, where I studied Art Education for 4 years. I thought it was really cool to look back at students experiences (going all the way back to the early 1900's) wandering the same sidewalks and building that I did. Its fun to think about. I feel the same way about vintage clothing. I like to think about where someone wore it and how they were feeling. Here are a few good ones I found

Wish
I saw this on PostSecret and felt it was such a universal sentiment and image. It's funny to think that probably anyone who ever owned a camera has this same picture and in most cases it was taken at a very carefree moment in their life. Who hasn't at one time or another wanted to go back to a time when all they worried about was whether they would ever kiss a boy or pass pre algebra? Anyway, the below picture was taken on my 8th grade trip to Six Flags and I scanned it in from my scrapbook a few years ago . ( My foot is the adidas shoe on the top left corner) ;)
